The Sonic Memorial Project. An online audio installation and archive containing stories, ambient sounds, voicemails, and archival recordings that tell the story of the twin towers and the events of 9/11. Led by Lost & Found Sound, a program of National Public Radio, The Sonic Memorial Project is a collaboration of more than 50 independent radio and new media producers, artists, historians, and people from around the world.

Photo by: J.J. Destin, Image #1780, contributed on November 20, 2002, to The September 11 Digital Archive. "I remember on one trip, going up to the top floor, and ... watching and feeling the building sway."
